June the 2nd, 2026. Renata and I, we held a speech at Monte Vidon Combatte, where Agritur Aso Regione Marche created a sublime Event with local niche food producers, dancers, singers, artisanal product makers and experts' presence.
Forum delle Terre Accoglienti was a milestone and a threshold in the summer events.
Our speeches were focused on permaculture as a match to convey residents, producers, travelers, food and wines makers, accommodation and guest houses managers at the same table to better perceive the value added of bringing back the Nature as much as the strenght of the Communities and the rivitalisation of identity of Marche territory among our everyday top priorities. To protect biodiversity, to adhere to the swifting of the seasons as much as to protect the environment from the devasting actions of globalisation, humiliation of the fair trade concepts, destroying of the pillars of typicity and, last but not least, to better produce not only to make a tangible profit today but to survive tomorrow. Accepting the real meaning of ethics, supporting, helping and growing up together. Because we are humans, not aliens inside our own home land.
We spoke and dissertated about permaculture as a serios and priceless virtuous living practice that is going to be a terrific tourist attractor. Beyond our individual own interest and short time -maybe- convenience.
Slovakia and Italy, our two origin birth countries were somehow compared in a rather different approaching-path and judgments from respective institutions. But, on the other hand, with a more than similar enthusiastic appreciation and growing popularity of the residents that understood how utopia doesn't just stay in our bucklet list. Utopia, as Carlo Petrini -Slow Food and Terra Madre founder- used to saying every here and there, is the only way to get a granted visa for the future. Our own, collective future.
