It was a beautiful Sunday, and we decided to head to camerano and Numana, our two favourite gems  in Conero Regional Park. After a more than relaxing walk echoing our steps up and down the pictoresque tiny town of Camerano, we eventually found our welcoming entrance to the Caves. Mid of October is a fantastic time to visit them. No queing, a tepid 14 C degree inside temperature. The visit takes 1h 45 min. around. Time literally flew! Just as an appetizer...The Caves offer mysteries, multiple different using during Centuries and will surprise and emotion young and seniors.  It is worth interesting to detect the multi-layers vaults where clay and silicates, within sandy granulated turned into rocks create a fascinating effect dated since hundred thousand years ago!

Eventually we headed to our preferred, cozy restaurant, in Numana. We couldn't avoid staring at a huge billboard, inviting us to enter a former public school, turned into a permanent exhibition centre who speaks the local language. This is all about 'Piceno' people, supposed to be already scattered around Conero somev 200.000 years B.C. The relics cover from Paleolithic  till the Ancient Romans period. A huge window time, for a 2-hour-incredible tour that thrilled us more than an Agata Christie novel. Definitely not to skip, should you be in the area. Just a hint, always check the correct opening time!
